Dr Melissa Jenkins, Ph.D. is a clinical neuropsychologist with an extensive background in:

• Clinical Neuropsychology
• Forensic Neuropsychology
• Neuropsychological research
• Neuropsychological education programs

BrainworksRI performs clinical neuropsychological evaluations of adult outpatients, specializing in the assessment of attention and memory disorders associated with developmental and acquired neurological illness or injury. 

A principal and valuable component of the services provided by BrainworksRI is the provision feedback to referring physicians and other treatment providers. BrainworksRI adopts a team approach to ensure that all team members involved involved with the patient are fully apprised of test results, so that they can use test findings to best treat the patient. Knowing as much as possible about the patient's cognition, competence, and ability to participate in the treatment process leads to the highest quality medical care.

 

In addition to clinical neuropsychology services, BrainworksRI:

• Conducts research pertaining to attention and memory disorders. 
• Supervise psychology trainees and participate in the Clinical Psychology Training Consortium at Brown University. 
• Present clinical and research topics at rounds and case conferences.
